Today was Parent/Teacher Conferences. J and I met with Mrs. S at 9:45 to talk about Paige’s progress. Mrs. S is such a sweet lady, and I consider P very lucky to be in her class.

We sent the girls to G&G for another Halloween party. They got to dress up, watch a Halloween movie, and eat lots and lots of candy :(

We picked them up at 3:00 and headed to Dr, K’s office. Paige is tall and thin. I swear her legs get longer every day. Her 5T jeans are too short now. Size six are way to big in the waist – God bless adjustable waist pants. She’s healthy as can be (considering). We did decided to try her on some meds for a month to see how things progress.

Cadence is little but growing. She sees her Endocrinologist Thursday. We got a referral from Dr. K to have a speech and hearing screening done. More on that later.

We made it home with enough time to scarf down some pizza and dress the girls before the Helm’s got here. We were running late so we got to hand out some candy to some of the neighborhood kids before we headed out.

The kids had a great time. They met a few kids from the neighborhood that they didn’t know (and won’t recognize again since it was dark and they were in costumes), and they saw their friend Reilly from G&G. They were SO excited.

Sadie came with us for a while (she was dressed up as a skeleton). She’s still learning to walk on a leash and got tired of following after a while so we took her home.

We only made it about ¾ of the way through the neighborhood and I had never seen so much candy in my entire life. The kids were tired and cranky so we headed back home to relax before the Helm’s went home.

In the past we had gone to the parade in E’ville – this was WAY better than that. I had no idea what we were missing. Of course all those years at the parade the weather was really crummy and the weather was amazing this year – that may have had something to do with it.

Happy Halloween everyone!
